The Yoga Temple, LLC (“Yoga Temple” or “the Company”) was founded in 2016 by Carol Baker-White and is a business that provides for individual yoga and small groups and sells yoga accessories/products. We offer small group and individualized yoga classes.

Meet Carol

review

Carol who is now a Wellness Advisor has also been practicing yoga since 2001, having received training and initial certification in 2006 from BodyWorks as a yoga instructor in the Cayman Islands. In 2012, she received additional therapeutic training and earned her certification from Functional Synergy Inc. in Toronto, Canada and a certificate in advanced sports and exercise nutritional advisor in 2017, from the Health Sciences Academy in London, England.

Carol has participated in several Wellness Fairs for Keiser University, Nova Southeastern University and Palm Beach State College and she was also in attendance at the 1st District’s Wellness Promotion Task Force (WPTF) meeting for 2019-2020 school year to promote the whole school, whole community, whole child culture model by addressing the valuable connection between learning and overall health/wellness.

Carol Baker-White began her career in the Jamaican insurance industry, assisting in the creation of what is now one of Jamaica’s largest insurance companies. After moving to the Cayman Islands, Carol enjoyed a 22-year career in the legal profession.
She worked with a number of the territory’s top law firm partners and lawyers, serving the needs of high-profile clients from around the world. During this time, she was also able to take on charitable projects in the Cayman Islands and the United States. Carol obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration and masters in human resource management. She is a member of the Cultural Council and the Palm Beach North Chambers of Commerce in Florida.
